St. Jude Square is a neighborhood living in fear and despair. The dueling gangs of local kingpins Dash and Antuan terrorize the streets and the citizens live without a shred of hope... until mysterious stranger Ryan Hong (Cung Le) arrives in town. He begins to play one gang against the other using his unparalleled martial arts skills, and by calling on the teachings of his brilliant mentor Tiano (Jean-Claude Van Damme) to find the strength to battle back. However, just as he begins to bring the community under control, Hong is confronted by Mr. V, the town's ruthless and corrupt police chief. At first Mr. V is impressed by Hong's skill, but soon sees Hong as a threat to his regime, and the two warriors are locked in a head-to-head battle, pitting the fear and corruption of Mr. V's regime versus the new beginning Hong represents for the people of St. Jude Square.。剧情介绍： 民国初年，南方革命军与北方军阀屡有战争，政局混乱，一些地方军阀趁机崛起，称霸一方为所欲为，百姓生活在水深火热之中。一些有识之士深感于此，支援帮助南方革命军，早日结束军阀统治，完成国家的统一。。军车在险峻的山路上行驶着。车上坐着四个人：沉默寡言、外表冷峻的汽车兵排长沈新，聪明活泼的新战士王小多，刚多北京某医学院毕业返乡的藏族大学生格桑拉姆，她是受兵站站长委托前去为一名工人的孩子治病的，还有一个是病倒在路旁林中而被救上车的藏族猎人尼玛次仁。 车正疾驶着，忽然，格桑拉姆猛击驾驶室顶，大叫停车。原来她发现尼玛次仁带着大量麝香，准备私自贩卖。车停下了，沈新拿过尼玛次仁的羊皮口袋，准备将他送交赛塘县公安局。 不料半路上车出了故障，四人只得露宿。而尼玛则趁夜色逃走，没想到在森林中旧病复发，又遇恶狼。正当他生命垂危之时，沈新赶到，击毙了恶狼，救出尼玛。 翌晨，车修好后，四人继续前行。途中又遇山洪暴发。为及时把车上物资送到兵站，沈新毅然涉水引路，使军车顺利通过，可自己却被湍急的洪水冲倒。此时，尼玛不顾一切，接连跃上水中的石块，甩绳救出沈新。 在两天两夜患难与共、生死相依的旅程中，四人心心相印。 分别时，尼玛主动将麝香卖给国家，格桑拉姆的心中已深深地印上了沈新的影子，而沈新也很钦佩这个性格倔强的藏族姑娘。。
