纳净云从警宫大学研究生毕业，分配到东环市公安局。在回来的火车上他三拳两脚打跑了调戏姑娘的几个流氓，并因此结识了漂亮的女记者王彤。纳净云自己要求去重案组做了一名普通刑警。他认为六年寒窗，完全可以凭借丰富的理论知识在刑侦战线大显身手，一鸣惊人。没想到已有四十年警龄的探长王贵金安排重案组女侦察员周菁芳做纳净云的搭档……。昭和15年，河本明子（芳根京子饰）与父亲源吉、母亲静子以及两个弟弟在广岛县三滝町幸福地生活着。明子的乐趣就是演奏自己最热爱的钢琴。直到某一天，一直支持她追逐梦想的教师竹内（町田启太饰）收到了征兵通知书…。随着战况不断恶化，明子的生活与音乐渐行渐远。“我想学习”、“我想再次弹钢琴”，她的这些愿望被强制的义务劳动无情打破。昭和20年8月6日清晨，明子同样不顾父亲的反对，为了工作前往市中心。时隔75年，受损的钢琴重睹天日，奏出明子的思念。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
