群山环绕的张家大滩，坐落于兰州市郊。村民们朴实、善良，在张村长的带领下，世代以种葱、种瓜为生。张磊是张家大滩走出的第一个大学生，毕业于西北师范大学。毕业后，他毅然放弃了留在城市的机会，决定回到生他养他的故乡。。狼人家族的新领袖福来弟勇气与智慧并存，可是狗身的它却无法获得狼人群的足够尊重。在一次月夜祈祷中，它终于成为了狼人，可是却同时召唤来了一个调皮捣蛋的月狼精灵。地月之间的平衡因为此次召唤而被打破，这次福来弟必须把月狼精灵送回家，不然地月之间将不可避免发生碰撞……。Set inside a pre-war duplex in downtown Manhattan, The Humans follows the course of an evening in which the Blake family gathers to celebrate Thanksgiving.
