该剧讲述了小学六年级的步平凡由于一个很偶然的意外结识了快乐星球的发明家棒棒和好朋友防火墙，三人和Q星球一个野心很大、自视甚高，想要打入快乐星球内部试图用消磁的办法来毁灭人类的科学天才Q博士相互斗智斗勇并在快乐星球探究梦的奥秘的故事。。CC版的两部纪录片合辑，拍于1968年的叫Symbiopsychotaxiplasm: Take One，第二部是2005年完成的，叫Symbiopsychotaxiplasm: Take 21/2。第一部拍的是一群学生在纽约中央公园参加一个“虚构”的电影试镜。第二部，拍的就是这对冤家35年后在中央公园的重聚。。When Twilight Sparkle and her friends arrive in Hope Hollow, they find the town and all its residents completely devoid of color their dream vacation is starting to feel more like a nightmare.
