该片以华阴老腔艺人“白毛”王振中为原型，讲述世代传承老腔艺术的邵家，让养子白毛和养女小凤结婚传承老腔的故事。。Edwin Antony (Hywel Bennett) is emasculated in an accident which kills a young philanderer. Doctors successfully replace his member with that of the dead man, but refuse to tell him the full story of the organ's origin.
