笛风，一个曾经报社的图片摄影师，因为放任不羁的性格与老板吵架被开除，他内心也特别讨厌摄影记者这样的职业，而特别梦想能成为一名私家侦探，在网上疯狂的发帖子，终于有了一个“机会”：一个神秘的中年女人，想找到自己老公与人偷情的证据，委托他跟踪拍摄一些照片。于是笛风按照女人交代的时间和地点，带着相机，到一个咖啡店前去等待，然而接连几天，笛风也没有拍到什么，却有意外的发现，在咖啡店马路对面的一个电话亭里，每天都有一个穿着红衣的长发飘飘的女孩在打电话，并隐约的感觉女孩一边打电话一边哭泣，这个女孩引起了笛风的兴趣，但电话亭隔着马路，又有很多车，总是看不清女孩的脸，笛风拍了好多女孩背面的照片，却一直没有拍到神秘女人要的照片...。In this powerful documentary, Mama Yang, an 84-year-old woman living in New York, finds herself in correspondence with 45 high security prison inmates she views as her own children.
